DYPALL Network, Portimao (Portugal)
DYPALL Network is a European network of over 50 civil society organizations and local authorities from more than 30 countries, that aims to involve young people in decision-making processes at local level, and thus enable municipal and regional authorities to address the needs and interests of youth, engage young people as active actors of problem solving and increase the level of ownership, commitment and involvement of an important part of our communities. DYPALL has different actions aiming at strengthening the strategies among the network of municipalities and youth workers. The organization has been also focusing on mapping and research best practices in the youth sector, consultancies, and through implementing capacity building activities and study visits for the exchange of best practices, having as target groups youth officers from municipalities, youth workers from the civil society sector, as well as youth leaders. These different strategies aim at accomplishing the vision of fostering an effective and sustainable involvement of youth in decision-making processes, as well as an improved work culture between local authorities and youth organizations, will better allow the implementation of more sustainable youth policies at local level.
