YEPP EUROPE works for youth and community empowerment in marginalized areas of Europe. We use innovative participatory methods in youth work and bridge them with an entrepreneurial skill set. YEPP EUROPE coordinates the YEPP Community.
A network of more than 40 YEPP Local Sites and Project Partners reaching out to more than 100 communities in industrial urban and rural areas in 16 European countries. Our mission is to bring about sustainable change in communities with fewer opportunities by disseminating and implementing the “YEPP” approach and methodology across Europe and beyond in order to foster youth and community empowerment. YEPP EUROPE assists the YEPP Local Sites and Project Partners with coaching and capacity building programmes in the field of youth and community
empowerment, as well as on specific issues: participatory evaluation, media literacy, advocacy, and community-based entrepreneurship. Apart from that, YEPP EUROPE is in charge of the expansion of the YEPP Community Network and the dissemination of the “YEPP” approach and methodology. YEPP EUROPE is hosted by the Institute for Community Education (ICE) of the International Academy Berlin (INAgGmbH), which is a non-profit organisation established in 1996 in Berlin, Germany.
